peachcobblerholidayPatricia Preston’s Easy Peach Cobbler

1 c. self-rising flour

1 c. milk

1 c. sugar

1 stick butter

1 can of sliced peaches (lite or heavy syrup)

Heat oven to 350 and melt butter in baking dish.

Mix flour, sugar and milk together with whisk.

Pour this on top of melted butter in baking dish.

Open can of peaches and pour on top of mix.

(I use lite peaches and the cobble is always sweet enough.)

Put in oven and bake about 25 minutes or until top is golden brown.

It’s a win-win situation, until they realize the attraction between them isn’t feigned, and the heat has never died down.
