Arrrr!!! As promised, I bring you a wonderful Rum Cocktail concoction for you to enjoy on Hump Day, me hearties! Sailor’s needed a quick fix too. Aye! Wednesday is the perfect day to shake up something like this for our souls.
Sailor’s Soul
Combine 1 sliced strawberry, 1 lemon wedge and 1 tsp. agave nectar in a cocktail shaker; muddle well. Add 1.5 oz. coconut-spiced rum and 2 dashes bitters. Fill shaker 2/3rds full of crushed ice; shake vigorously. Strain over ice into a tumbler glass. Garnish with strawberry slice and lemon wheel. Woot!
Oh, to be free to roam the streets in Tortuga. Buccaneers aplenty tanning their hides and making jerky out of wild boar. People from various walks of life. Most happy. Some in a stupor. (Must have been the rum!)
Don’t miss my blog at Crimson Romance tomorrow! I’m shelling out information about masks. We all wear them, don’t we? In honor of the re-release of Clarissa Ross‘s Masquerade, I wrote up a great little piece I think you’ll enjoy and also shared some pictures of me wearing a few of my own masks.
Stay tuned, loves! There’s more on the horizon! I’ve got a special deal brewing on Friday. Wish I could say more now, but it’s a BIG secret! One you’re going to love! And don’t forget, there is one more Rum Cocktail recipe to come—the ol’ Pirate Flag!
Blessings,
Katherine
